Dive into the world of character design and 3D modeling by creating the main hero of an imaginary video game. Think about iconic charactersāthey can be human-like, such as Link (Zelda) or Mario, or completely abstract and whimsical, like Kirby or Pacman.
While you don't need to build the whole game, we want to understand the world your hero belongs to. Your submission should include:
Your Hero Character: Modeled and presented in Blender.
A Sense of Stage: A compelling scene that hints at the environment where they live.
Your Game Concept: A brief explanation of your imaginary game's genre, your character's personality, and their role within the story. We encourage a looping animation to show them off, but a powerful still image works too!
1. Submit in the Community: Share your final image (still or animated, square or vertical) in the Patata School Community Topic 'Blender Hero Contest'.
2. Upload to Instagram: Post your entry on Instagram, making sure to tag @cabeza_patata and use the hashtag #patataschoolhero.

We love Lauraās nostalgic, atmospheric Pixel Art scene.
Everything from the soft lighting, the level of detail and thought in how each element fits within the Pixel Art aesthetic, and the character design itself is spot on.
