If you're looking to get started in character design, digital art and 3D, you're in the right place!

What we recommend...

If you're just getting started in digital art, getting familiar with Photoshop and After Effects is a great place to begin. They're used a lot in the industry and will help you build the perfect foundation.

Learning 3D

Once you're confident working in two dimensions, you might want to jump into the third one!
If you're completely new to 3D, there's no need to spend lots of money on expensive software. We recommend both Blender and Spline.

They're both free 3D programmes that will give you amazing results. For work for web Spline is perfect, and for a more cinematic finish and in-depth options Blender is the one.

Learning Character Design

We have created a very special 10-week challenge to improve your character design skills. Each lesson covers a different topic and you'll receive weekly exercises that you can share with others in the Patata School Community to help your learning.

So much more...

Patata School is full of resources in the Community forums, materials & lighting set-ups, brushes for Procreate, and many more courses on a range of topics and specialties.

Feel free to explore everything Patata School has to offer and don't forget to share your experience with others!
